Adventures in Twitter-land

Twitter is an uber-phenomenon. The social networking platform has over 22 million active users and is a great way to get up to the minute updates on your favorite celebs, people, and companies. But what is the method behind the madness of Twitter?

As most of you probably know, Experts123 is on Twitter. Our Twitter account is relatively new, so we are constantly testing the Twitter waters in order to figure out what appeals to experts like you. We not only want to make our current contributors happy, but we also want to attract people to this community in order to increase the size of the pool of information.

Some days, Twitter is easy to understand. We tweet a lot of interesting facts, articles, and cool links to the Twitter network and a lot of you decide you like what you read and follow us. Other days, we do this, and we might actually LOSE followers.

So what makes Twitter tick? We haven't quite gotten this down to a science. Luckily, as our experts community grows and people become increasingly more proud of their hard work and contributions to the site, we are able to re-tweet your articles and have conversations with you. We pride ourselves on the fact that there are REAL people behind our Twitter account instead of simple automated feeds. Any questions or concerns? Just write a message @experts123 and we'll be happy to get back to you.

As we get more Twitter savvy, we are looking to open this up to Twitter contests and promotions. Our "Win a Free Apple iPad" giveaway is wrapping up, and we are always looking for ways to reward our top contributors. Keep an eye out in the Twitter-sphere, and if you haven't already, follow @experts123 on Twitter! We promise, we won't disappoint you.
